The Centre for Service Excellence (CenSE) member, Dr Fernando Moreira has been nominated for the 2021 EUSA (Edinburgh University Students' Association) Teaching Awards, in the category Teacher of the Year.

Fernando teaches MSc courses on banking regulation and quantitative methods applied to the financial services industry. Although his courses have been taught online due to the Covid-19 pandemic, he has endeavoured to make his students feel as if they were in a lecture theatre.
