General Presentation Guidelines
The time allocated for each presentation is 20 minutes:
- 10 minutes for paper presentation
- 10 minutes for questions and discussion
Please arrive at the room 10 minutes before the presentation and upload your PowerPoint/PDF file to the room PC. We recommend bringing your presentation on a USB flash drive. It is not possible to present using your laptop or by downloading from the internet.
Please carefully consider the content that is needed for a 10-minutes presentation. We recommend limiting your PowerPoint to 6-8 slides.
Poster Presentation Guidelines
The Posters should be A1 size with portrait orientation. Please note that our poster boards cannot accommodate larger posters or posters in landscape format. We will provide materials to put your poster on the boards.
Posters should be visually appealing. Use colour, font and images appropriately and ensure a balance of text, figures and space. Please consider that the poster should be able to be read in no more than 5 minutes, and easy to understand by non-specialists in your subject.
Posters should include but are not limited to:
- Your University logo in good quality
- The title of your study
- Names of authors and their affiliated institutions
- Your research questions
- What methods you will use for your research
- What is the main contribution of your study?
- What are the findigns and conclusions of your research?
Please arrive 20 minutes before the conference start to secure enough time to put your poster on the poster board.
